ePermit started with one observation: a vehicle already has a unique identifier. Why issue it a second one?

It began as a proactive way to lower infractions for legitimate permit holders — giving them peace of mind, knowing that when they park they are in compliance and won't be ticketed, booted or towed.

It has become much more. Management no longer has to issue, track, check or revoke physical permits, and resident information organizes itself.

Confirmation emails are sent for every change a resident makes to their account. Management and enforcement can be copied, which keeps everyone current without a single phone call.

All information is live, in real time. That matters most in emergencies, and it helps enforcement make rounds faster without accidentally citing a vehicle that is legitimately registered.

With ePermit, those problems are a thing of the past. You log in to manage your account online, just like any other online account, except this one is for your parking permit.

Once a vehicle is registered, the vehicle's License Plate becomes the Parking Permit. There is no physical permit. Nothing to issue, nothing to collect back, nothing to remember to hang up. The only time anything else has to be done is if the vehicle or License Plate changes.

You won't be ticketed, booted or towed because you forgot to hang a permit when you were in a rush — and you are no longer advertising to everyone where you live when you forget to take it down.

For property managers and owners, there are no more physical permits to issue, collect and track, and no more lost, stolen or counterfeit permits. Managers and owners can view and manage their residents and view their vehicles.

Residents are invited by their apartment manager or unit owner. Once invited, the resident creates their account and registers their vehicles.

Each resident manages their own account, including inviting guests where applicable. No one else can make updates or changes.

All updates are made by the resident online and are effective immediately, in real time.
